Iran Life & Liberty is a public project for developing a new social contract for Iran—one grounded in equal citizenship, human dignity, and freedom as non-domination. Inspired by Woman, Life, Freedom, it asks how these principles can become institutions that protect every person and every community from arbitrary power.
The project looks beyond slogans and changes of government. Its aim is to develop a practical democratic framework in which gender equality, social justice, accountable government, and meaningful participation are built into the structure of public power.
By bringing together diverse experiences and political traditions, we are creating a space for public reasoning, disagreement, and cooperation. No party, leader, majority, or centralized authority should be able to define the people—or rule in their name—without effective public scrutiny and contestation.
Our goal is a democratic republic in which rights are enforceable, institutions are answerable to citizens, and everyone can participate as an equal in shaping Iran’s future.
